Daryn Robinson (she/her) is a Chicago-based writer and performer originally from Washington, D.C. You can see her perform improv, sketch, and musical comedy at The Second City with She The People, The Second City's After Hours, and Shamilton! The Improvised Hip-Hop Musical, and at The iO Theater with Improvised Jane Austen and The iO House Team "Birdlady".

 

Notably, Daryn is a Features Contributor at The Onion, and she co-produces the monthly all-Black comedy variety show My Best Friend is Black at The Lincoln Lodge, voted Chicago Reader's Best Comedy Show of 2023!

 

Daryn recently graduated with an M.F.A. in Screenwriting from Northwestern University (Go Cats!), and she's been lucky enough to intern at some cool places like The Disney College Program and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
